Xiaomi is expanding its market in India day by day. When it comes to launching new smartphones frequently, no one can beat this Chinese company. To continue this trend, xiaomi launched another budget oriented smartphone for the Indian market. Today, Xiaomi launched Mi A1 in india but there is a new thing in the xiaomi latest smartphone Mi A1. this time Xiaomi collaborated with google "android one" and brought an enhanced device.
the Mi A1 has stock android UI because Mi A1 ditched the MIUI and come up with stock android UI, which was the most requested things by the Xiaomi Lovers.
here are the details specification detalils of Mi A1
Display
The smartphone has 5.5'' full HD IPS display. we have no information about the glass protection that is being used in this device.
Processor
It has Snapdragon 625 octocore Soc, which is clocked at 2 GHz.
GPU
It has Adreno 506.
RAM & Internal Storage
the smartphone has 4GB of RAM. Out of 4GB of RAM, around 3 GB of RAM is available for usage. It has DDR4 RAM.
It has 64 GB of Internal storage. Out of 64 GB, around 8.33 GB is used by OS, it means approximate 56 GB can be available for the use.
SIM Slot
It is a dual nano sim smartphone which has hybrid sim slot. it means you can use 2 nano sim or 1 sim+1 MiscroSD card simultaneously.
Both SIM will support 4G VoLTE.
Camera
it has dual rear camera setup with 12MP+12MP. one sensor is for RGB & one sensor is a monochrome sensor.
The rear camera has tap to focus, 2X zoom & potrait zoom feature.
The rear camera can record video upto 4K but we have no information of EIS feature.
The front camera is a 5 MP, which might struggle in low or aritficial lighting but it is too early to say anything about it since it got lauched today.
Android OS & UI
Android 7 out of the box & it has google Stock UI (PIxel Launcher) with no bloatware. We can still hope for the frequent software update because this device is poweerd by Google itself. Xiaomi also stated that it will get Android 8 update in a couple of month.
Battery & Charger
The phone has 3080 mAh battery which is non removable. the smartphone comes with a data/power cable & a 5 volt, 2 Amp power adapter( not a fast charger). Because the phone comes with snapdragon 625 processor( which support fast charging), they should have given the fast charger out of the box.
Still you can purchase any fast charger from the market & use it with this device.
Fingerprint Sensor
The fingerprint sensor given on the back side, just below the rear camera. The Unlock latancy of the sensore is about 1 second. wehich is not so fast but it is responsive. the accuracy of the fingeerprint sensor is also very good. it works arond 9 times out of 10 times
Mi A1 is come with USB TYPE C post for charging. it is not sure that whether this runs under USB 3.1 technology or USB 3.0.
The Xaomi retained the IR blaster & all other basic sensors which were there in the Redmi Note 4.
it also has 3.5 mm audio jack with dedicated amplifier which can enhanced the sound quality in the earphone (though the earphone is not provided in the box with the smartphone).

Verdict
This phone has all the decent feature which any budget segment smartphone should have but Xiaomi did not come with any extra ordinary feature with the Mi A1` because we have already seen these feature in Redmi Note 4. the only area in which the Mi A1 is improved is the Rear Camera.
But Mi A1 is still far better than any other budget smartphone.

if you are a software update freak & conscious about fast UI.
Why not to buy

CoolPlay 6, Moto G5s Plus & Nokia 6 can be good alternatives.
